Only thing going for this camera is the night vision

I brought the Digital Guardian camera & recorder for my parents 2011 Christmas gift back in November 2011. On MLK Day I installed the camera and recorder for my Parents. I notice video was poor and motion was jerky not smooth with the color was washed...
