Too Expensive

Synology should ship with fully enabled software - not limited crippleware.

The server works great

These per-camera licenses are horribly expensive

Not bad... but too expensive

The DiskStation itself rocks! I store 100's of gigs of surveillance video using Blue Iris.

Pretty complete package... as good as most any other DVR system on the market. Try the free, built in 1-camera license first to see if you like it ; It's hard to criticize base on features only

EXPENSIVE! Yeah, other comparisons were made to THE most expensive systems you can buy BUT I assure you, there are alternatives that cost less than 1 license and supports 24+ cameras with MORE features than this one ; and runs on an inexpensive Windows...

Really?!

None

Completely overpriced - I'm not sure what Synology is thinking. Great NAS unit but 60 bucks to add another camera license? Somebody thinks we're suckers
