I'm very disapointed about the video. Out of the box and I can only see shadow in day light, no clear image. I think that I have a bad camera.

You must use SecurView Pro version which, thankfully can pick up the tv-ip312w's, the reverse is not true. You cannot use SecurView to find these cameras, they just won't find them, even if you tell the software the ip location.

Note: I already have four TrendNet TV-IP110W's (they have had their own issue with failing to take a Snapshot) and one Foscam camera. I can remotely access them worldwide via my DynDNS account on a PC or my Android phone or tablet running TinyCam Pro....
