For $50 dollars, I have the ability to remotely view (plus pan and tilt) my baby cat while I werk. 15 years ago, I could not have paid $1,000 for this ability. Those folks who write these reviews off the cuff, venting their own inabilities and short...

Cheap. Werks if you know what you are doing. Plug it in (or go wifi), give is a static IP (or permanent DHCP lease), Forward port 99 on yer router, get yerself a DDNS service (like DYNDNS dot org) and be done

Product was probably rushed to market (so you weekend warriors will struggle), but if you spend a moment to get it going; maybe doing a few minutes of search engine werk, you will smile when you can peer around the room you set it up in - from a remote...

Pain in the neck- Do not buy

HAS 2 different MAC addresses LAN and WAN, make sure to add the WAN one to your mac filter list to get the wireless to work. This thing has been useful economic money wise but frustrating and time consuming especially with the email alerts set up....

good FPS through active X IExplorer browser ; decent picture quality ; Good and quick WIFI G connection

Short power adapter cord ; Not very snuggy power port allowing power cord to disconnect from device at the slightest movement powering it down ; Goes to full pan rotation to zero position on boot (disabling it through software interface does not work)...

Great Little Pan & Tilt Camera!

For the money, I believe this is a good camera. Support from Zmodo is excellent! When I was having trouble with the configuration, the support tech and I discovered the selection inversion and he noted that for further reference. I contact support each...

The first one I received did not pan. But I returned it and it was replaced and worked just fine out of the box. Video and snapshots resolution are adequate, don't expect high resolution for a price like this. I access the camera from anywhere in the...

There are a couple of issues with the firmware. The selection to upload image on alarm is inverted so you can't set the delay between the 6 snapshots. Sensitivity is good but whenever there is a change in ambient lighting, the AGC also kicks off a...

not too shabby

While I got this for $50 I like it since it does what it's supposed to do. Motion Detection built in works pretty well but does catch on after a few seconds. I tested it by setting it for motion detection alarm. walked in front of it. it finally...

picked this camera up from a daily deal type website a while back and got it for $50 so I thought to myself, why not. Turned out this camera is awesome. I have it setup indoors and the livingroom/diningroom/kitchen area it monitors are usually very...

The video quality is mediocre. Is somewhat better in very well lit environments but who would leave the lights on just for the camera to shoot video better. I am guessing the camera would work a whole lot better outside on a porch or any outdoor...

Great Deal

On-board motion detection wasn't very good at night, zoneminder however is exceptionally good at it so it doesn't concern me. External wifi antenna can be upgraded if longer distances are needed. I have it hardwired, but the wifi option is nice: I...

Inexpensive PTZ IP cam with infrared and wired+wifi support. It doesn't cost hundreds of dollars and has a fairly large feature set with motion detection. I run Linux exclusively and have no issues or need for a windows box with this cam -- web access...

Most config updates require a reboot and upon rebooting the camera does a full motion test which takes ~1minute and leaves the camera pointed at the ceiling

Not as good as advertised

Good picture and operation

Can't play back recordings on PC they were saved on, Tech support has more questions than answers

Great Cheap Pan/Tilt Wireless IP Camera

Picked this up with some other "Cheap-O" IP Cameras. Doing IP Surveillance, Security & Other IT Related tasks, I knew I was going to "Get what I Paid For" with these. But I had no intention of selling or doing anything professional outside of...

Wireless & Wired ; Wireless Antenna is removable & thus up-gradable. (RP-SMA) ; Wired & Wireless MAC the same ; Cheap ; Seems to handle the well given it's current install location of: My Front Porch. (It's under the porch, so no direct contact with...

Only Pan's & Tilt's... no Zoom (Digital Zoom via BlueIris) ; Cheap ; 640x480 (VGA) ; Max framerate is only achievable via the Internet Explorer Active X Panel ; Continues to occasionally decide to park itself in a non-home or non-preset position ;...

Should have read more feedback

Simple to set up and use

Basically the only downside is not being able to set up the alarm notifications through GMAIL due to the device not supporting SSL. Still haven't been able to figure out how to download the video onto my server
