Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars

A rehash but still a good time.

Luckily that is not all there is to the story. The developers tried to throw some humor into the game to make it fresh. I am glad that the developers like puns at the same level as I do: terrible. The puns are sometimes so bad, go ahead and ask…"How...

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars (Director's Cut)

Superior animation, an engaging story, and clever puzzles make Broken Sword well worth investigating, despite the occasional glitch.

Engaging story ; Beautifully drawn ; Clever puzzles ; New scenes integrate well

A couple of obtuse puzzles ; Some genre conventions now feel very dated

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - Directors Cut Wii Review

November 1996. The original Broken Sword game, Shadow of the Templars was released on the PC and a month later on the Sony Playstation. It included beautiful hand drawn backgrounds and characters, an intriguing and well thought out storyline and,...

Well written story ; New content adds to the original ; Excellent voice acting ; New character portraits work well

Some characters' dialogue performed by more than one actor ; Little to no replay value ; The new portraits are static

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - The Director's Cut for Wii Review - This Director's Cut deserved to be spared from patchy audio and shonky cutscenes, but it wasn't. Regardless of this fact, the brilliance of the Templars remains largely...

Amazing!

I remember Broken Sword from when it was available on the PS1 and thankfully, the Wii version has remained relatively the same.

Still makes an Awesome game

If your a broken sword fan you'll know that BS1 is the best (or on par with BS2) broken sword game Revolution have made. Bringing it back onto the Wii was a great move, i just wish there were more games like it for the wii.
