Call Of Duty: World At War

Activision's venerable franchise returns to the Wii, and WWII, after a brief hiatus.

Great control ; Good action ; Great voice acting

Unimpressive graphics ; Lack of online variety

You're correct. It does not. My apologies. I did not mention it in the first draft, but I went back to review the PR materials I got from Activision and it listed it so I added it. I should have checked for myself.

If you own a Wii and are confident in your Wii remote abilities than this is an excellent game to pickup

It would be easy to let the gameplay stop you from wanting to play Call of Duty: World at War, but there are just so many other things the game has to offer. If you own a Wii and are confident in your Wii remote abilities than this is an excellent game...

Nintendo Fall Media Summit: Call of Duty: World at War

We've already written quite a bit about the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Call of Duty: World at War, but thus far, we haven't had the chance to go hands-on with the Wii version of the shooter. At Nintendo's recent Fall Media Summit, though, Treyarch was...

Call of Duty 5: World at War

How many locations does a game need to cover before it's allowed to use the word "world" in the title? Super Mario World has ten, Guitar Hero: World Tour has 17, and World of Warcraft has hundreds of diverse locations. Call of Duty: World at War has...

Excellently paced, cinematic treat for fans of the increasingly popular series

Fails to offer much interactivity and gives away too little control

World War II goes out with a bang in this impressive Wii shooter.

Long after players have finished the solo mode, they’ll still be enjoying the best online multiplayer game for the Wii.

Call Of Duty: World At War (Wii)

Just when you think you've played all the first-person World War 2 shoot 'em ups, along comes a game that looks and plays much better than anything you've seen before. World at War is set in the final stages of a feud that involved America, Japan, the...

Decent graphics ; Easy to use controls ; Nice variety of missions ; Wi-Fi

Slightly dodgy morals (showing real corpses) ; You die quite often in ambushes ; No sound options

Call of Duty: World at War is the best first-person war game on the market at the moment, boasting detailed graphics, realistic fire and explosions and top quality cut scenes. Just don't show it to your Grandad or he'll disown you!
