Colin McRae Dirt 2

The number one name in rallying finally arrives on Wii. Is it everything we'd hoped for?

Lots of cars and tracks ; Wii wheel support ; Smooth framerate

Sorely lacking in nice things to look at ; Handling is too floaty ; Doesn't move fast enough

Dirt 2 plays like a pared down facsimile of an excellent game, bearing little more resemblance to its parent title than the token GBA conversions used to back in the day. It’s not as if this couldn’t be done on Wii. It's more like nobody really cared...

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 Review

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 is doing the rounds on all platforms - Can it be counted as one of the few stand out car games for the Wii?

The Wii is not renowned for good quality car games, but the name Colin McRae is. Although this title plays quite well there are too many little things that add up to make this first Colin McRae incarnation on the Wii a real letdown for the series. ...

Colin McRae Dirt 2 Review

Despite the death of rally legend of Colin McRae, Codemasters have returned for a sequel in memory of him- does it live up to his greatness?

Graphics ; Experience ; Competitive multiplayer

Too American ; Too easy ; Lack of tracks

When you're racing, "Dirt 2" is a fantastic, rich experience, with beautiful visuals, pumping sound, and great AI. Also, the world tour is excellently presented, and the fact that you now get competitive multiplayer means there are some great updates...

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 [Wii] Review

Crash and burns before the race is over.

A semi-realistic racing game using motion control; Includes multiplayer (although not great)

Frequent drops in frame-rate; No online modes; No customisation; Gets repetitive and boring; Feature-less compared to the 360/PS3 versions

VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!

VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Don't even go there, a really big let down for me, I've done lots of PC & Wii motor racing and rallying games and this is the worst. Car handling is rubbish, graphics uninspiring, game play just nonsense. Definately a NO. I think Colin McRae would have...

Realistic Rallying

Realistic Rallying

In my opinion this is a realistic attempt at a rallying game. The cars are meant to be difficult to master, and they are - well, at least to certain extent. Initially it is very frustrating as the car is almost never on the track, but once you have...
