Dave Mirra BMX Challenge

The poor man's Downhill Challenge

Incredibly easy to beat ; Stunts are simple to pull off ; Somewhat competent motion controls

Crap port of crap game ; Where's the challenge ; Not necessary at all

Dave Mirra BMX Challenge

There's something reassuring in the fact that just riding your BMX over ramps and stuff could secure you a highly-paid career in later life. This can be said of Dave Mirra, who has earned 23 medals in the X Games and appeared on The David Letterman...

Simple controls ; Not too difficult to complete ; Some nice jumps and ramps

Looks rather dated ; Little use of the Wii motion controls ; Can't knock down people

Dave Mirra BMX Challenge isn't particularly advanced, in fact it'll probably seem like a cross between classic Paperboy and Tony Hawk games, but the best racing games are usually the simplest, and there are plenty of tricks to master.

An enjoyable game...

If you enjoyed Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam on the Wii then you will defintiely enjoy this. The tricks take a bit of practice and it's arguably tougher than Tony Hawk but it is a really enjoyable game once you get the hang of it, with some good 2 players...
