de Blob 2 Review

Great jazz soundtrack ; Colorful environments ; Charming characters

Timed gameplay ; Poor Move integration ; Inconsistent design

The original de Blob is one of those games that if you played it, you have fond memories and wish there were a sequel. If you didn’t, you likely are not aware and, if someone mentioned it, you probably only recall it as that “blob game on the Wii”....

de Blob 2

The world of de Blob 2 is a colorful and unique one full of wonderful animations and a ton of personality. There's really nothing else like it in gaming.

As of this writing, there are no cheats available for de Blob 2, but half the fun of the game is found when you're searching for hidden missions and objects...you know, without the clock.

de Blob 2 Review

De Blob 2 has an infectious feel-good vibe, but some frustrations cramp this platformer's funky style.

Restoring color to the world is rewarding ; Great visuals and music create a joyous atmosphere ; Smart, entertaining cutscenes ; Combat is often good simple fun

Failure can result in having to replay long sections or entire levels ; Targeting system can be frustrating when facing diverse groups of enemies ; Some repetitive level design

Controlling Blob is fun, thanks to responsive controls and a mostly great targeting ability that lets Blob stomp switches, enemies, paintbots, and the like with unerring accuracy. Holding down a trigger targets the nearest targetable object, and the...

de Blob 2 Review

This blob's heavy on the charm, light on fun.

Fair warning: de Blob 2 is ruthlessly adorable. The game's frequently hilarious cutscenes have an almost Pixar-like quality to them, and its character designs rival Kirby's Epic Yarn in raw cuteness. Even Blob's fascist oppressors look like they just...

de Blob 2

Blob's second outing isn't anything revolutionary, but it's more refined than the series' debut.

Awesome musical presentation ; More gameplay variety than the original ; Improved mechanics ; Fun co-op multiplayer

Poor jumping

Maybe the DS version would be a better choice if I'm looking for side scrolling action.

De Blob

It's a pity that some of the most original and ambitious games to grace the Wii have been original properties largely ignored by consumers. Boom Blox, No More Heroes, Zak and Wiki. While the Wii's lineup has been largely disappointing, and yet these...

Simple and fun ; Great presentation ; Motion controls add to the sense of immersion

A bit repetitive

De Blob is one of the better games to be released on the Wii this year. It’s fun, it’s easy to pick up, and it has a wonderful, unique presentation. Wii owners should definitely check it out.

De Blob is one of the more unique and creative games that I've played in recent years. The evil INKT Corporation has invaded the city of Chroma and outlawed color and fun. Playing as de Blob, you will lead the color revolution in an effort to bring...

de Blob

THQ's long-awaited Nintendo Wii game, "de Blob"is finally here and while it's a bit short, it's a pretty amazing game.

Fantastic and incredibly charming visuals ; Silent, but extremely cute characters ; Highly addictive gameplay ; Multiplayer mode is fun for the whole family ; Controls are so easy that even my 4 year-old nephew was playing this game ; Plenty of extra...

None, unless you count the generic music

If you have a heart and you wish to embrace your inner child all over again, there's absolutely no question about it; you should buy this game. Even those who may find this sort of thing to be "kiddy" should give it a shot. Let go of that close-minded...

De Blob

I'll admit, I'm a hardened skeptic when it comes to Wii games, especially third party titles. Nintendo's emphasis on simple graphics and minigame collections has been interpreted as carte blanche for third parties to slack off and churn out shovelware....

de Blob is, for lack of a better term, unique. This art project-turned mainstream game has elements of Katamari, Mario Galaxy and Okami rolled into one seamless package, but it really doesn’t rip any of them off. de Blob relies on its central theme of...
