I'm not into this whole weight loss culture. My problem is that, by and large, most fitness gurus I run into make me want to punch them in the mouth. I don't, of course (I'm a gamer, not a fighter), but the "trainers" EA has included in SPORTS Active...

Fresh exercises, imports personal information from previous version, workout with a buddy, better graphics and music, easier to build a routine around your schedule and great workout (when it works)

The Very Best Gets Better

New workouts, more exercises, fantastic presentation

Resistance band is still wimpy, "recipe book" that comes with the game is pretty lame

Living Room jocks and stressed out parents, here is your ticket to weight loss. Toss Wii Fit, use the Jillian Michaels disc as a Frisbee, shove aside all of the pretenders. This is EA's throne now - so go buy a resistance band and start sweating.

Paddle surf, water ski and box your way to becoming a lean, mean fitness machine.

Small criticisms aside, EA Sports Active: More Workouts is a fun exercise game that'll help you lose weight. It's by no means a replacement for an actual gym membership, but instead serves as a great companion to one, letting its users sneak in squats...

EA Sports Active: More Workouts

EA Sports Active: More Workouts is an exercise tool, not so much a game. The information stored on the disc provide you with workouts that will help improve your health and give you instructions on how to perform the moves correctly. With the help of...

Titles like Wii Fit and whatever random Yoga games are out there promise to help you get in better shape. That might very well be, but you don't feel like you are accomplishing anything by how low impact and easy going the moves are. With More...

Even though many of the exercises seem elementary, they can hurt people not doing them correctly. The game will give you reminders on how to do the exercises correctly but there is still a risk without the eye of a trainer you could hurt yourself. Just...

The success of a product like this should be if you feel inspired to continue exercising. More Workouts inspired me to continue to exercise thanks to how accessible the game is. You feel the exercises make a difference and, with continual use, I have...
