Family Ski & Snowboard Wii Review

I would like to note before we start, that this game is intentionally used with the Wii balance board, and I decided to try out the game first of all without the Wii balance board and then try to play the game with it later on and compare whether it is...

Entertaining ; Can select Mii character ; Can have up to sixteen profiles ; A fun game to play with family and friends, or just on your own ; It can work without the Wii Balance Board

But not as good without ; No option menu ; Limited on music and there is no way of turning of that scribbling sound they make when they talk ; Tedious and repetitive ; Some of the required elements in a competition, seem too hard

Family Ski & Snowboard- Wii

Nice family-oriented game. Works well with the balance board and my 3 year old son (who had his first week of skiing this March) absolutely loves it. To be honest, I love it too. Although it's by Namco, you'd swear it was from the same people that...

Great Game

Family Ski & Snowboard is a Great Game in my opinion. There is alot to do from Skiing at the Resort to Riding down the tall Mountain and you can fully customise your character from snowboard to clothes. It's not the best using the Wii Balance Board so...

painful to play

I really didnt enjoy this game. There was very little to do and I found the concept hard to find. The wii fit board part was really boring and It took a very long time to get the idea of the controls. All-in-all it was a painful game to play. I would...

alright

wow 2 reviews and both of them positive which I find surprising. This game is alright. The most disappointing feature is the 2 player mode using the wii fit. The game assumes that you have 2 'fits' and there is no option to use the same 'fit' taking...

Special Enough to Buy

I rented the earlier ‘Family Ski’ for Wii, and it was okay, but none of the kids pressed me to buy it. Now I’ve sampled the later incarnation ‘Family Ski & Snowboard’ and, as they say, it’s a whole new ball game. There is an absolute maze of...

I really enjoyed this

I did enjoy this game. There's lots to do on it. You can ski round the resort at your leisure, ride the mountain, race opponents and go to ski school and learn the basics as well as tricks. We have the Wii balance board and it does improve your...
