G-Force

Invisible, invincible… insipid

Responsive controls ; It's fun to blast stuff ; You rarely get stuck

Gets boring after a while ; Terrible story ; Visuals are a letdown

G-Force is a well-executed game with a few neat touches, but it ultimately becomes repetitive and bland. We can understand that, since a game adaptation of a movie has a price point of about five times a movie ticket, and one should reasonably expect...

G-Force

Fun combat and crafty puzzles make this a good companion to the blockbuster movie.

Fast combat, clever puzzles, and rewarding exploration ; Flying around as Mooch is really fun ; Lots of different enemy types with unique weaknesses

Little visual variety ; Drags at times

G-Force review for the WII

Far short of the G-spot.

Creative enemy designs; Respectable voice acting; Easy target for butt jokes

Repetitive puzzles and environments; Bare visuals; Asinine 3D tech; Holey story

G-Force

Gadget-equipped guinea pigs save the world in G-Force, a platform adventure based on the 3D feature film from Walt Disney. The story of the game picks up where the movie leaves off. A billionaire villain is trying to take over world with an army of robots

G-Force (Wii)

If you've ever wondered what Nicolas Cage or Sam Rockwell would be like as guinea pigs then you should go see their new 3D movie G-Force, produced by Jerry 'apparently I'm still not rich enough' Bruckheimer. Cage doesn't lend his voice in the game, but...

Decent graphics ; Good voice work ; Good controls ; Can move camera 360 degrees ; Upgrade and buy new weapons ; Scan machines for weaknesses ; Use Mooch to reach difficult places ; Darwin's jetpack is pretty cool ; Enemies are imaginitively designed

Target lock is a bit squiffy ; Can only play as Darwin and Mooch ; No 3D sections found on the PS3/360 versions ; No multiplayer/online modes ; Cage is strangely absent

G-Force won't test your brain too much - it is aimed at kids after all - but the graphics are above average, the characters are nicely voiced by the likes of Sam Rockwell and Jon Favreau, and it's a lot of fun seeing the world from a guinea pig's point...
