Ghost Squad – Nintendo Wii review

It's a bit of a surprise that it's taken such a huge amount of time to find a true old school light gun title on the Wii. Yes, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles was a corker, but it lacked the real immediacy that the likes of Time Crisis and Virtua...

Lots of fun, real old school blasting action, tonnes of extras

Short single-player campaign, poor visuals, ridiculous over-the-top story

For old school light gun fans, this is an enjoyable, if short-lived, example of the much missed genre

Just like the arcade game

This game is kind of fun except when there is more than one player because the aimers are different colors and agitate your eyes.

all sorts of weapons, fun missions, better than other wii shooters

kind of stupid, really annoying sometimes, etc

Quick, arcade-style shooter for light gun fans

While being a carbon copy of the Sega arcade cabinet that came out in 2004, (aside from the new online rankings, party mode, etc) the Wii port succeeds in turning your living room into yet another virtual coin-op shooting frenzy. First off, I gave this...

Fills that arcade "void" we all have, Good pickup-n-go party game, Online rankings

Replayability is low especially to gamers used to long campaigns, No originality

Solid shooting game

If you're a fan of the Time Crisis series, you will enjoy this game. It does get a little predictable after awhile, but what shooting game doesn't? The more you play, the more different paths you unlock, as well as weapons and costumes.

Good pacing, level options, gun options

Can get predictable

Ghost Squad

This game is one of my favorites. It is exactly like the arcade version but this time there are more paths to choose and higher difficulties to choose from. There are a total of three missions which get boring after awhile but the different paths are...

Replay Value

Short short game

GREAT LIGHT GUN/SHOOTER GAME

This is a great shooter/light gun game. It is easy to pick-up and play, without taking hours to learn controls, etc. It is a bit short, but fun none the less. If you like games like Time Crisis, and House of the Dead, you will like this. A great...

EASY, PICK-UP and PLAY

A LITTLE TOO SHORT

Short But Fun

I'm going to give this game 3 stars for its 3 levels. Each one is well crafted, with a few twists and turns thrown in to provide variety, but the bottom line is THERE'S ONLY 3 LEVELS!! To its credit, unlockables such as extra guns and costumes provide...

Wide Variety Within Levels

Only Three Levels

Okay Game

It's a nice multiplayer game to go with the Wii zappers. Wish there was more missions in the game.

Nice multiplayer feature

Only 3 missions

Fun for quick play

This game is great for having a quick play on the wii. It's also great for when you have friends around. There are only three levels total which can get old after a while but the prospect of earning new weapons keeps you moderately interested.

Short levels

Only 3 levels

Nothin' but video game trash!

As you could see, this game has a bad storyline not suitable for any more sensetive audiances. Such material a terror propaganda should be for those 21 or up only. . . otherwise, stay away from ghost squad by all means.

None what so ever

A plot not worthy for the TEEN rating at all
