Remember that scene in Unforgiven where Clint can't hit squat with his six shooter so switches for a shotgun instead? If he had the choice, he'd probably have loaded up with heatseeker missiles and gone all Nintendo on the bad guys.

This is a by-the-numbers air combat game that's six years too late.

Does a passable job of delivering the basics of any decent air combat game

Last-gen graphics; mediocre voice acting; lack of game modes; no multiplayer; no online

For the PSP and PS2, I can't suggest more than a rental for this title as there are better and more engaging flight titles on the system due to their lengthy system lives, but for the Wii the game is one of the better flying titles, and that's saying...

In the cockpit of 16 different modern planes is where you spend most of your time in Heatseeker. Playing as a member of an international task force, you must work your way through 18 missions by taking out enemies on land, in the air, and at sea. Often du

Heatseeker promises that you can "pilot the most sophisticated modern fighter jets at face-melting speed against a seemingly impossible amount of enemies" and while this is true to an extent, the sophistication seems gravely lost in a sea of clichéd...
