LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

If you have played any of the previous LEGO branded 3D platformers then you know what to expect here: Lush recreations of the movies where all of the people and vehicles, and anything else you can interact with, have been replaced by LEGO bricks and...

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

I was fully expecting to be unimpressed with LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. As a Harry Potter fan, I've been let down by a vast majority of The Boy Who Lived's videogame adaptations. I've also grown jaded and bored with the LEGO series of games. There's...

LEGO Harry Potter is much deeper than it seems and presents a universe that feels tailored for the LEGO treatment. A few technical issues aside, LEGO Harry Potter is a game that is truly fun for all ages and above all, a game first and a license second.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Review

Travellers Tales have mastered the LEGO formula, and the lightning-scarred boy wizard is great fodder for this recipe. Fans will love it, but if I see another LEGO stud this week, it will go in the fire.

Quality, polished programming, lots of content without the bugs.; Great homage to source material with injected humour sensitive to the core content.; So much to look at, do, and play with, great value.; Spell casting, potion making and other ‘Harry'...

Co-op is down played .; Must be a fan to appreciate the story, some cut-scenes leave the tale untold.; A minor amount of ‘what do I do now' moments

Harry's adventure into Lego land is exactly what you'd want it to be: charming, fun, and chock-full of secrets.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

I believe that this is the 7,607th Lego themed game to hit the 360. After so many very similar titles, is Lego Harry Potter any fun to play?

Better graphics ; Plenty to do ; Great for kids

Very samey ; Some obscure puzzles ; Better for kids than adults

If you're an adult and have played any quantity of Lego games before, then this latest title probably won't do too much for you unless you're a big Lego or Harry Potter fan; however, kids will no doubt love the game, and will give them hours of enjoyment.

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4- Wii

Its characters may be made of plastic, and its plot may be conveyed by shrugs and/or grunts, but this is the best Potter game yet. Thanks to a licence that truly gels with the playful creation and destruction so vital to the enduring construction toys,...

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4- Wii

The constant flow of unlocks in Gringotts Bank and shopping along Daigon Alley stirred up old feelings of addiction I had playing the Star Wars titles. While Harry Potter doesn't offer much innovation for the LEGO franchise, it at least puts it back on...

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4- Wii

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is a love letter to fans of the Boy Who Lived. The comedic cutscenes toying with canon, the hundreds of hidden things to find, and the general sense of a great LEGO game paired with a great series really makes this game a...

Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4- Wii

Few properties fit as well with the LEGO games formula as Harry Potter does. Fans will definitely get the most out of it, but if you're in the mood for a charming, sweeping romp, LEGO Harry Potter won't disappoint.

If you or your young sprog are Harry Potter fans and this is your first LEGO game, it's an essential purchase. The LEGO gameplay is still great fun for those experiencing it for the first time and the familiarity of the Potter characters and...
