Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

The Wii version of the game includes motion control support for all of the character's movements, but after snapping the Remote a few times to crack the whip, you'll likely forget it's even an option. Although I have to admit that "digging" with the...

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

There's something loveable about Lego games. I wasn't even a Lego fan as a kid, but seeing characters and moments from films play out as if performed by a group of seven-year-olds is something special. Although many might claim that this is simply Lego...

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

Decent, but Indy fails to whip up excitement

Clever puzzles ; Lots of vehicles ; Self-aware humor

Dull levels ; Frustrating partner AI ; Lackluster character unlocks

But love for the subject matter aside, the problems we mentioned at the start of the review make LEGO Indy the worst LEGO game to date. The levels aren’t that interesting, the mixture of real-world textures and plastic LEGO pieces jars and the...

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (Wii)

Three years ago, when the original LEGO Star Wars was released, nobody imagined it would become a sensation among kids of all ages. How else can you explain why George Lucas didn't release the game through LucasArts, but instead let it come out via...

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

If adventure has a system of interlocking plastic bricks, it must be LEGO Indiana Jones.

The same enjoyable gameplay as the LEGO Star Wars titles; lots of goodies to unlock; it's pretty darn funny

The heavy reliance on unarmed combat can be frustrating; some tricky puzzles will stump the game's intended audience

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

The release of the latest Indiana Jones film starring a now mildly geriatric Harrison Ford had us calling fowl play, the release of the latest LEGO title from the folk at Traveller's Tales has had us jumping and whipping with joy. Much like the Star...

Like the DS version, we're going to score this a very respectable and lovely seven out of ten. Not because it does anything majorly wrong, but because it does everything nice and right and doesn't take any risks. At the risk of coming to a similar...

Lego Indiana Jones (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PC) review

There is nothing inherently wrong with Lego Indiana Jones, but I don't think anyone will be shouting from the hills about the fun times they had with the game after playing. In truth, it is just not as exciting as the Lego Star Wars games were....

So, in the end, perhaps the worst thing you can say about Lego Indy is that it is not as instantly likeable as the Lego Star Wars games, and that it's more of a relationship you'll have to work at instead of being the love at first sight Travellers...

LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures (Wii) review

If adventure has a name, it must be Indiana Jones

Not as well made as LEGO Star Wars, but this is brick-blasting entertainment. Indy is back and he won’t LEGO (sorry).
