LIT

Clever puzzles leave us in the dark

Spooky setting ; Inventive light/dark gimmick ; Intriguing boss fights

Irritating accidental deaths ; Not really survival horror as it claims ; Forces repeating of levels needlessly

Solving some of the tougher puzzles gives you a real sense of accomplishment, which is the hook Lit needs to hold you until the end. There are lots of smart ideas here and if they were polished up and put in anything other than a ‘survival horror’,...

LIT (WII)

With an eight-dollar price tag, clever puzzles, and creative motion controls, LIT is a worthy purchase that'll have you waggling the Wiimote the way it was intended.

Excellent and diverse puzzle designs; creative and effective use of motion controls; creepy atmosphere

Accidental deaths can be frequent and frustrating; lack of plot

LIT review for the WII

We've seen the light.

Great puzzle premise; Good use of ambience (seriously); Perfect price at 800 Wii points

Annoying inconsistencies; Lots of trial and error

LIT

This dark puzzle game will test your problem-solving abilities, as long as the design quirks don't kill you first.

Puzzles are logically constructed yet devious ; Boss fights are intense and clever ; Phone conversations provide some much-needed humor

Design inconsistencies result in unexpected deaths
