Mini Ninjas

Small but so very nearly deadly...

Looks as good as anything on Wii ; Plenty of great action ; Cute and charming vibe

Animals and other ninjas aren't explored much ; Controls aren't the best on Wii ; Camera could be better

Regardless of its flaws, it's maybe just one sequel away from being indispensable.

Mini Ninjas - World Exclusive Review

TVG attempts to banish the forces of darkness from a once tranquil land in Mini Ninjas. Just a normal day at the office really...

Well mixed gameplay ; Beautiful visuals ; Loveable characters & story

No co-op multiplayer ; Not for stealth purists ; Needs more content

Despite the disappointment of there being no co-op play in Mini Ninjas' campaign, the game does enough to keep players entertained through well mixed gameplay, loveable characters, stylistically beautiful environments, and good humour. The Japanese...

Mini Ninjas (2009) on Wii

It's a shame that the Wii version suffers from some visual issues, like pop-in, blurriness and some framerate stutters, because the art style itself really makes this game special. Fortunately, you can still enjoy that art style on the Wii, despite the...

A family-friendly ninja affair.

Mini Ninjas Review

The first impressions of Mini Ninjas was pretty good, it seemed like a fun little title with solid gameplay and interesting fighting mechanics. However, sitting down with the final build has changed the perspective a bit. It should be noted that this...

MINI Ninjas is not for the hardcore gamer. After only a few hours I was bored and looking for something else to play. Do not expect a deep Ninja action in this game but rather expect a fun and easy Ninja adventure. If you are a looking for a refreshing...

Mini Ninjas review

Mini Ninjas is a cute game made by a Western developer that feels like it came out of Japan. A darkness has fallen over the land. Unusual environmental phenomenon cause chaos to the order of life on the planet. Animals are being turned into deadly...

A game from 2009 is probably one of the least relevant reviews that I could manage to write. Yet I still felt the need to write one for Mini Ninjas because it is a genuinely unique game. The art direction in itself is appealing, even when you get past...

Mini Ninjas

Colorful and cartoonish, Mini Ninjas aims to provide super-powered ninja action with a noble, adventuresome storyline, but without any graphic violence over-the-top adversity. Players follow the tale of the smallest ninja, Hiro, who faces an army of monst

Mini Ninjas Wii Preview

One of the first games in a long time that is actually tons of fun for all ages.

IO Interactive's Mini Ninjas is scheduled to ship in September 2009 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, and Nintendo DS.

Mini Ninjas (2009)

On first impressions, Mini Ninjas looks like the sort of nauseatingly cute, kiddie-friendly bullshit that Empire kicks the face off each month and mercilessly hammers for its myriad failings. But scratch below the surface and you’ll find Mini Ninjas...

Mini Ninjas

IO Interactive, makers of the brutal Hitman series, have gone all cuddly for Mini Ninjas. Players are placed in the shoes of short-round ninja Hiro as he's sent through the forest to rescue his friends and the animals that have been turned into minions...

Easy to use inventory ; Instant save points at checkpoints ; Great animation, particularly in the bonus character histories ; Enter spirit world to control any animal ; Can switch between 6 ninjas ; Assign items to your quick inventory ; Above average...

Easy to beat enemies ; Single player only ; No online options

Mini Ninjas won't test your ninja reflexes much - even the giant Samurai bosses are pretty easy to kill by using pillars as shields - but it keeps you engaged throughout, either with the pretty scenery or the new spells and potions you learn along the...
