MLB Power Pros 2008

2008 marks the second appearance of Konami's Power Pros Baseball series on American shores, and baseball fans everywhere rejoice. Japan's most successful baseball series mixes cartoony characters, old school gameplay,...

Insane amount of statistical depth ; Solid, old school gameplay ; Innovative career modes

Limited Wii specific content ; No online of any kind

Though a little late to the party, Power Pros aims to deliver a fantastic baseball experience.

MLB Power Pros 2008 Review

Still a great game, but you're basically paying for last year's game with the new Life mode.

Fun to play, very statistically detailed baseball game

No online, no roster updates, basically last year's game with one new disappointing mode added

Out-of-date rosters ; Loose fielding controls ; Baffling menus

MLB Power Pros 2008

MLB Power Pros is back for 2008 season with updated rosters, a new RPG mode, and its signature deep, yet accessible gameplay.

Controls are easy to grasp ; Substantial statistical depth ; Team management and creation tools are robust ; Unique modes blend role-playing and baseball action

Not much has changed since last year's version ; Occasionally dodgy fielder selection
