Consumer review by:

overall entertaining

Overall, Urban Assault is a lot of fun to play. Have you ever wondered what a monster truck could do outside of a stadium? This is your game. It goes beyond just doing the usual racing and free style, and is fun for all ages. It lets your imagination...

The trucks are the trucks. You know who's who, and they are true to their form. They break their parts off just like the real thing. Being adventurous outside the stadiums/event centers is a plus

The only con I have is the only other review from monsterjamfan4018. This is for entertainment; it's a game! Wake up and have some fun

completly awful

Look. Activision should be ashamed of this game. The trucks dont handle right. they dont have any rebound. the obstcles are just fake. I mean really, except for one do you really see those obscles in a real monster jam show? AND this game has got...

They got some of the trucks graphics ok

There is no rebound from the shocks. Controling the truck in mid-air. No real live stadiums except for the world finals. Almost impossible to get a slap wheelie. Waste of money

Also, outside of the Speedster mode there are very few actual races thrown into the mix - this means the bulk of your time is made up by freewheeling around stadiums or (fairly small) city streets smashing stuff to pieces. After a couple of hours this...
