Being that NHL 2K10 is the only NHL game for Wii, 2K Sports could have easily mailed it in and shipped a game light on features. Credit definitely goes to them for not doing this as they have shipped a version that matches the feature set of its NHL...

Maybe it's because I'm somehow honour bound as a Canadian gamer that I feel the need to play every game of hockey that hits consoles. Perhaps it's the fast-paced, white knuckle action that's rare to find in other sports titles out there, or the back...

Controls are awesome thanks to Wii MotionPlus ; Tons of modes ; Music is varied, commentary is solid ; Online works wonderfully

with the exception of needing to exchange friend codes ; Graphics try too hard, art style needs to be reconsidered on the Wii ; Players can feel a bit slow
