Excitebots: Trick Racing (Wii)

To get an idea of how much better Excitebots: Trick Racing is than its predecessor, Excite Truck, think about them in terms of children's toys. Trucks are good, wholesome fun, but there's only so much an active imagination can do with them. On the...

Mario Kart Wii - Nintendo Wii Review

Mario Kart Wii isn't a bad game, but its overly streamlined mechanics, lackluster track design, and annoying gameplay quirks keep it from being as great as it could have been.

Wii Fit Plus

In other words, Wii Fit 2.0

Wii Fit Plus isn't a sequel; it's an update. But at $20, it offers a good bit of additional content, features, and refinements-enough for fans of the original to consider upgrading and replacing their old game disc. Meanwhile, newcomers to the series...

Wii Fit Plus review for the WII

Fat with content.

Creative damage control on 'obese' issue; Plenty of new activities; New categories give fitness genre credibility

Overkill on charts and graphs; Too much focus on calorie counting

Harder, faster, fitter, better?

Upgrades the world's most popular fitness software ; Lets you feel good about your gaming habit ; 15 extra minigames

Wii Fit Plus Review

Punch, throw snowballs and stretch your body into pretzel shapes with Nintendo's excellent fitness game.

Whether or not Wii Fit Plus will help you get in tip top condition, as Nintendo claims, remains to be seen, but this is an incredibly enjoyable video game for a budget price. Of course, if you still haven't purchased a balance board, now's a perfect...

Wii Sports Resort

Wii Sports is arguably the most popular Wii title to date, simply because it shipped with the system as a pack in title. For most people, it really just whet the appetite and left us longing for more. Nintendo's back with a sequel: Wii Sports Resort.

Product Specifications

Contoured to perfectly fit a player's hand, the Nunchuk controller builds on the simplicity of the Wii Remote controller and goes an extra step to meet the needs of gamers. The Nunchuk controller connects to the Wii Remote controller at its expansion port and is used in conjunction with the Wii Remote controller. The Nunchuk controller contains the same motion-sensing technology enabled in the Wii Remote controller but also includes an analog stick to assist in character movement. In several games, players will use the analog stick of the Nunchuk controller to move their characters and the Wii Remote controller to perform a specific action, whether that's throwing a pass in football or aiming a ranged weapon in an action game. Along with the analog stick, the motion-sensing Nunchuk controller also contains two buttons positioned for quick access. Because the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers are only relatively dependent on each other, players are free to hold them in whichever hand is most comfortable. The ambidextrous nature of the Wii controllers grants accessibility seldom seen in game controllers.
