Open Season (2006) on Wii

As a children's title that's meant to compliment the theatrical release of Open Season, the game fulfills its mission of snagging shelf space, while still managing to throw in some entertaining moments into the mix. The comedy, while basic, actually...

Another children's movie, another game to go with it.

Open Season

When city bear Boog is led into the forest by a mule deer named Elliot, it becomes Open Season for any unlucky hunters who happen to cross the bears path. Raised by Beth the park ranger, Boog is not used to living in the wild, and must tap into his instin

Open Season review

Lying in bed at night, some people tend to fantasize. As I lull off to sleep, my whimsy turns to my inadequate material existence, imagining the boon a million dollars would bring me and the leechlike humans I call my friends. The good people at PETA,...

Open Season theoretically pits hunted animals against hunting humans.

Interesting Course Scenery, But Poor Graphics and Placement of Props

M & M's Kart Racing is an interesting racing game. The main thing that I like about it is that the graphics are appealing with the levels looking unique, especially the Chocolate Volcano level. The vehicles are also interesting including a three ...

Interesting courses to race through, decent Wii racing controls

Open Season- Wii

3d platform based on movie, hard for kids, not exciting for adults

This game is hard to control - children under 8-9yrs would find it a little difficult. Almost caused an arguement due to frustration with it. Only rent if you really love to fight with loved ones!!!!

not quite that bad

I stuck with it until the end. It starts slow, and I was ready to send it back, then I got to the mine. It gets better from there! Look out for skunk tossing, the mine roller-coaster, and a river ride like no other.

open season

Kids found this one boring and quite hard to master. My daughter who is 8 couldnt work it out and gave up (shes normally quite good!) My son who is 10 and his cousin who is 13, said it was boring and decided to send it straight back to get something else.

Product Specifications

Team up with a cast of crazy critters, unleashing your animal instincts in Open Season, the game - a riotous romp in the great outdoors in which a rowdy brood of forest animals turns the tables on a bunch of unsuspecting hunters. When a domesticated grizzly named Boog gets lured into leaving the creature comforts of home by a fast-talking mule deer named Elliott, he finds himself lost in the woods just three days before hunting season begins. Forced to "rough it" in the great outdoors, Boog goes native, rallying all the forest animals to take back their home and send the hunters packing.
