PDC World Championship Darts 2008 (Wii)

The first PDC Darts hit the PC and PlayStation 2 in late 2006, and although it had a budget look and feel, it wasn't a terrible game by any means. With the Wii and its motion-sensitive controller arriving not long after, it was clear that there was...

It might just be the best darts game ever, but that isn't saying much.

Licensed ; Nice variety of multiplayer party modes ; Realistic physics

Terrible commentary and sound effects ; Drab visuals filled with minor glitches ; Control issues ; No Wi-fi support

Pussies. Lawn darts FTW! Anyone got any predictions as to what is going to the next thing that will be elevated to the ranks of quasi sport? Between this and poker makes writing words on the ground with piss a productive use of ones time.

Darts finally finds a home as a videogame on Wii...

The Wii Remote makes it almost worthwhile ; Sid Waddell does his best to make it fun ; Darts without the dangers

Soon grows tired and overly repetitive ; It's darts ; A dart board is cheaper

Although PDC 2008 will undoubtedly have darts fans jockeying to the oche, the fun will probably be relatively short-lived for everybody else. With no Mii options and limited Party modes, it's also hard to imagine PDC World Championship Darts 2008...

The result of this attention to detail and commitment to develop an ongoing Wii version of the game is a great little experience. If you have even a slight inkling towards darts and a smattering of patience to persevere for a few hours with the...

You could hardly be blamed for not jumping up in the air with excitement at the arrival of a game of darts; to the outsider, it's not exactly the most thrilling of sports. Of course it has its fans, as can be seen by the plethora of people who turn up...

If you're after a challenge, PDC 2008 isn't going to disappoint you; getting good at the game is almost akin to getting good at the real thing. It's doubtful that any video game is going to replace the actual game of darts, but this is about the...

The mishandling of the controls on Wii is a diabolical error.
