Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End

Who knew? Licensed swashbuckling is surprisingly fun and challenging

Challenging, well-designed combat ; Characters and humor fit the movies ; Captures the feeling of pirate-life

Controls occasionally annoy ; Side quests can be unrewarding ; Too much time spent on first two movies

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Review

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for nobody.

When it comes to movie-based video games, publishers should deliver an authentic experience. Disney Interactive fails miserably, offering consumers a boring game with sloppy controls that does the franchise more harm than good. Numerous collectible...

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Wii)

I have only played about three levels and I was sweating my but off. I had to actually stop and rest. If you play this game play it standing up because you will definitely get some exercise. I like the game almost as much as I like the movies.

I finished two levels and was sweating

None that I have seen yet

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Wii)

I lasted about 10 minutes before realizing I was ripped off. You feel like you have no control. You shake the wand he swings his sword, repeat. Any motions like climbing ladders, ropes etc are all automatic. Click the light or fire (hard to tell) on...

Not bad graphics considering the wii limitations

Don't expect a sword fighting game using the wii wand as a sword

At Worlds End Review

I avoided this game like the plague because I thought it would be a poor game. I only had to play it for about 15min for my mind to change.

Decent graphics. I like the option of the subtitles. Option to duel. Controls are easy to pick up on. You get to play more than one character throughout the game quickly. Levels short enough to play for a short while w/ saving game but long enough to...

Try borrowing it or renting it first

We borrowed this from our public library and we had fun the two weeks we had it, but once it went back no one has missed it. For teens and older, I think this game will get tedious pretty fast. However, I was looking for a good Wii game with simple ...

Wii Playground

My husband picked up EA’s Playground for the Wii for me thinking it would be fun for the two of us to play together, he was right. We are both kids at heart and truly enjoy this game. You can play this in single player, multi player, and quick play. ...

Many games to choose from

Lose interest real fast

This game was recommended to me by a sales associate for young children ages 4+. So I bought it for my 4 year old son for $39.99 When he received this game along with Carnival Games for Christmas, he did not open it until a few days later. Once ...

Geared towards younger children. Kids like the characters

EA Playground: Kicks Sand In The Face Of Carnival Games

After being disappointed by Carnival Games for the Wii, I decided to take a chance on another game- EA Playground. I was lured by the potential to be able to play dodgeball with the Wiimote; once I heard that, it sucked me in. This is a cute game. ...

Fun while it lasts

Fun does not last long, controls, showboating, etc
