PokéPark Wii: Pikachu‘s Adventure Review

A nice pika-place to visit.

Good introductory RPG; Play can be tailored to ability; Fun for kids, good enough for adults; Password feature

Repetitive minigames; Requires a lot of reading

Gamertell Review: PokePark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure for Wii

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure tackles two genres. It's an adventure game, since players are helping Pikachu explore zones, befriend pokemon and fulfill simple tasks. It's also a mini-game collection, filled with attractions in each area to play....

Lots of the cutest pokemon appear (almost 200), can enter passwords for extra pokemon or items, can race/battle/quiz pokemon, vivid and bright environments, very child-friendly, can take screenshots, can play unlocked attractions in an Arcade section...

Some of the mini-games have motion control issues and you can only explore the PokePark as Pikachu

PokePark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure- Wii

PokePark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure is definitely not a bad game, but be aware of its target audience. Given the simplistic approach to the gameplay, and the familiar Pokemon look, the game is targeted for younger gamers. Of note is that the young ones...

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure- Wii

PokéPark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure certainly isn't a perfect title on the Wii, but I think it's worth checking out for younger Pokémon fans. There's not a lot to hold the attention of the 20-plus crowd, but kids who are just getting introduced to the...

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure- Wii

With fun motion-control based mini-games, up to 193 Pokemon to befriend, lots of areas to explore and leveling up to do, Pikachu's Adventure offers a lot of content. Sure, there are some slow and frustrating times peppered throughout the PokePark, but...

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure- Wii

Despite the bland attractions and repetition of the skill games, exploring the PokePark is still somehow fun and engaging if you're a Pokemon fan, in part because this is easily the prettiest Pokemon game to date.

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure- Wii

PokePark's best feature is the Pokemon themselves. They look and sound just right, and the game musters appeal on that alone. It's a pity, though, that there's not much for the critters to do but wander through the park zones, eat berries, and play the...

PokePark Wii: Pikachu's Adventure- Wii

The mini-games are so lacking in variety that between ten different Pokémon you'll have played the same game against them four times. It's the kind of repetitive process that is the hallmark of any standard children's game, yet the bane of every other...

Pikachu's (humdrum) Adventure - we play in the Pokepark

Like I said; not worthless.
