Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 (Wii)

The bunnies of Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 are nothing like the fluffy little cottontails envisioned by Beatrix Potter or Walt Disney. They fart, they burp, they spit, and above all, they scream. They also star in what happens to be an extremely enjoyable,...

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 Review

Although Rayman Raving Rabbids was my pick for the best Wii launch game (no - not Zelda - I don't want to talk about it), I am not sure that the world is ready for a sequel already. It's a year later now, and Ubisoft Paris has brought back those...

While I commend the developers at Ubisoft for trying to do new and original things in this sequel - one that comes only a year after its predecessor - it seems that the Rayman Raving Rabbids idea just isn't quite good enough for a real franchise. The...

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

Derivative, yes, but Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is nonetheless a great little party game, replete with a Deep Purple jam, Fart Wars and a whole lot of freak and shriek.

In the video game world, there are consumer-rating warnings on games for things like "suggestive themes," "blood and gore," "Use of alcohol" and even "mild fantasy violence" (what does that even mean?). There is no acknowledgment of any kind, however,...

Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2 Review

Get your groove on with cute psychotic bunnies.

While we still yearn for Rayman to return to his platforming roots, Raving Rabbids 2 is an amusing comic romp. The graphics and sound have Rabbid influence aplenty; the online leaderboards are a sure-fire hit; and the gameplay will win you over with...

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

Rayman in winning game formula shocker!

Polished look with great art design ; Minigames are often hilarious ; Playing with friends is where it shines

Gameplay isn't deep ; Playing by yourself not much fun ; Yelling rabbids still give a headache

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

Kill the rabbit.

Multiplayer options are great ; Online leaderboards ; Sense of humor remains satisfying

Simplified controls are a repetitive chore ; On-rails shooter levels are slow and predictable ; You can see all there is to see in three hours ; Graphics are a step back from the original

Wow, I'm surprised! I really thought this one was going to fix the problems of the original and be better overall. Where's that Nintendo-like quality, Ubisoft?Maybe they can get it right with 3.

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

Ubi's bunnies do a lot of strange things, not the least of which is make a decent sequel.

Another crazy series of mini-games; hilarious characters; great multiplayer; online leaderboards

Quite a few mini-games recycle mediocre mechanics, which drags down the fun factor

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 Wii Review

Saving the world one plunger at a time.

Despite numerous faults, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is a decent sequel to a fabulous game by Ubisoft. Ignore the graphics and you have a game that is both great at parties and even better for plunger shooting fun. While it may not on my top ten list this...

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

Those rambunctious rabbits are back and ready for world domination in this follow-up to 2006's madcap, mini-game abundant original. The Rabbids now have a home base on Earth and plan on learning the idiosyncrasies of human behavior to more easily infiltra

Rayman Raving Rabbids 2

This follow-up collection of minigames isn't nearly as captivating or humorous as its predecessor, but it still has its moments.

Over 50 minigames, with a few real gems ; The rabbids are still wonderfully psychotic ; You can play dress-up with the rabbids, if that's your thing ; Multiplayer is a greater focus in this sequel

Most of the minigames are merely OK, and some are downright dull ; In-game graphics still have a crude look to them ; Shooting sequences aren't nearly as interesting this time around ; The single-player isn't very interesting

By no means is Raving Rabbids 2 a bad game, but everything about it feels a little bit slapdash, as if it's more an excuse to get another game featuring those daft rabbids out on store shelves by the holidays than a sequel that builds off of the...
