Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

Motion controls: the silent killer. It is no secret that amongst hardcore gamers the Dreamcast is one of the most beloved memories in recent years. The plethora of original titles...

Solid visual presentation ; Plenty of modes

AI is relentless ; Sound is lackluster ; Motions controls ruin the experience

LocoRoco 2

\r\n The original LocoRoco blended cute graphics, catchy music, and an innovative simplistic control scheme to make it one of the PSP\'s early greats. With this year\'s true sequel (the PS3 DLC Cocoreccho doesn\'t count), fans will find the ultimate...

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution (Wii) Review

A honor to its legacy or a disgrace?

This is an avoid at all costs game that, while looking good, is actually a poorly put together game that would have benefited from being a push button controlled game rather than a motion controlled game on the Wii. It is a shame that a game with such...

Ready to Rumble: Revolution

Ready to Rumble: Revolution is an example of a developer just not getting the Wii. There is a shameless march of ports and remakes the system recieves, and this is yet another. Let's face it - the Wii is two years past launch and enough time has passed...

This title is sure to invoke fond memories in Dreamcast owners

The controls on this game are so broken I couldn't play any mode without giving up in frustration

However, if it were playable, I imagine there are Dreamcast diehards out there who would clamor at a chance for nostalgic memories of Sega's beloved also-ran.  With the controls in such a shoddy state, there is no one that should pay to play this game.

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

I can remember back to the first moment that I heard about the Wii's unique motion-sensing controls. I remember being intrigued by all of the ideas and impressed that Nintendo would make such a radical departure from the status quo. However, while I...

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution leaves me with an interesting problem, I simply can't think of a single good thing to say about it. I suppose you can use it to test your Wii, but even that will send you into a rage over what this long-awaited sequel could...

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

In theory Ready 2 Rumble Revolution for the Wii should work - but in reality it's an utter disaster of a game that should be avoided at all costs. What's worse is that traces of the series' once enjoyable roots can be seen at almost every turn, but...

No official cheats were available at the time of this writing, but I hope down the line there's a cheat to unlock everything for those who can't wait to punch Brad Pitt...or...sorry….Fight Clubber in the face.

Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution Game Review - Nintendo Wii

The game begins like any typical boxing game would. You create your own brawler to move up the ranks to become the champ. The problem here is that you don't really have any access to your fighter's attributes, and the only things you can really fix...

You like to lose in video games that make you think you're boxing but actually waggling around instead

You need a workout on your arms and think spending $8 and sitting is the correct first step

The series, in general, is known for its arcade-style of play with extremely fluid and quick action. Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution is no different, however, the game controls extremely poorly. Odds are when you enter your first match, you’ll probably...

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

Atari has decided to bite the bullet and publish the latest game in a series that people just don't care much about anymore with the release of "Ready 2 Rumble Revolution" for the Nintendo Wii.

Minigames would actually be fun if they could be played properly ; The game has a hilarious overlaying theme ; Graphics are pretty good ; Framerate is solid ; Custom characters are a basic, but fun addition

Terrible sound ; Absolutely maddening and unresponsive controls

Don't even bother with this game. Brainwash yourself and try to forget that this game ever existed.

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

After nearly nine years in retirement, the Ready 2 Rumble series aims for a triumphant comeback in the Wii exclusive Ready 2 Rumble Revolution. Though publishing and developing rights have changed hands, Ready 2 Rumble Revolution retains the series' over-

Ready 2 Rumble Revolution

Midway released the Dreamcast in 1999. One of the launching titles was Ready 2 Rumble, a boxing game that became a huge hit. Midway couldn?t seem to relive the same magic when it came to the second game in the series which is why they stopped. Out of...

I see no reason to buy this game or even mention it. Late last year we heard about Ready 2 Rumble Revolution being developed and now it is released. They really put no goddamn time into this game. I could name a hundred things I would rather do than...
