Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles

Yes...let the T-Virus flow through you!

Fills in the story blanks left by Umbrella Chronicles, adding another new chapter to the saga ; Beautiful, technically impressive game ; Co-op is fun and eases the challenge ; Bouncing zombie boobs

Much harder than Umbrella due to the shaky-cam and strict boss fights ; Not as much environmental mayhem ; Upgrading your guns takes forever ; Bouncing zombie boobs

I have found the game much easier than Umbrella Chronicles. The ability to upgrade, especially the speed of fire has turned the hand gun into a machine gun with shot gun power for me. So with unlimited bullets, I never change guns unless the battle...

Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles Review

After the lukewarm reception the much-hyped Resident Evil 5 received earlier this year, die-hard fans may've felt Capcom had injected a new viral strain of their own into the feel of the venerable series. With a much more prominent emphasis of...

It is too bad, however, that backstory points (such as what exactly happened to Krauser between the time in the game to his change of heart and Plagas injection in RE4) are only hinted at, and not explored more fully. The same can be said, more or...

A shooter needs its guns

Starting off, players have access to three weapons: a pistol, a submachine gun and a shotgun. However, as you play through scenarios new weapons are made available such as a grenade launcher, a magnum and different types of shotguns. It isn’t all fun...

One of the biggest strengths Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles has is that it is a good quality shooter that has excellent control and pacing. At the same time despite the unique ideas that the game brings to the standard shooter formula it really...

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

Resident Evil's backstory rises from the grave once again in this new Wii shooter, but should it be put back in the ground?

Excellent expansion of the Resident Evil story; who doesn't like shooting zombies

Controls are awkward and take some getting used to; can get repetitive fairly quickly

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles Review

A fun, albeit flawed romp through the zombie infested Raccoon City.

See more screens from Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles ... Overall, we had fun killing monsters, locating hidden items and finding new weapons like the automatic rifle and shotgun. You can even access the knife by pressing and holding A, then shaking...

Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles

There's always more zombies to shoot.

Umbrella Chronicles also takes a page from Resident Evil 4 in the use of interactive cut scenes. There are occasional demands to press a button or shake the remote to escape damage during a scene. They aren't hard, but if you do fail you'll regret not...

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles - Review

I rarely have anything negative to say about Capcom. They have been behind a good percentage of my favorite games of all time, and nearly everything with Capcom on the box is at least worth renting, if not buying. My one complaint with the company is...
