Rockstar should stick to killing hookers.

The only "realistic" tennis game on the market ; While somewhat botched, the motion controls add some level of immersion to the experience

About as no-frills as you can get without being called "Gran Turismo ; No reason to play this game over, say, Tiger Woods or even Wii Play

Because it's a shoddy port. I've read reviews that compared it to the 360 version and basically it was completely crapped-down with the motion sensing not being used well. Of course the review was kinda fail since it said that the lack of online was...

Is Rockstar's Wii interpretation of the 360 title an opportunity missed?

Port contains some of the original's magic; long volleys engaging with motion control

Graphics definitely downgraded; serving is flawed; missing online play highlights game's shallow experience

Forrest Gump would not approve of this table tennis game.

That's too bad, because the sound is superb. When the ball comes back to you, you can hear it through the Wii remote's speaker. Furthermore, the music is great to listen to, with a comforting electric piano groove that doesn't wear out its welcome. ...

Rockstar serves up a treat for Wii owners, providing multiplayer is your type of thing...

Retains the blistering pace ; Table Tennis suits the Wii Remote ; Subtle core depth remains the same

Lack of single-player content sitll an issue ; No online options ; Control methods not as good as the Xbox 360

From a Wii-friendly point-of-view, Table Tennis succeeds as a hardcore title that lends itself to Nintendo's console with a clever approach to the control setup. It's slightly disappointing to find no new features beyond a mundane Training option,...

Slick ass controls give Table Tennis a second chance at relevance

Amazing motion controls ; Fantastic 2-player, single screen action ; A well timed smash

Somewhat boring visuals ; Devastating lack of online play ; The return of Wii-lateral damage

Nintendo Wii - Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis Impressions

What else can be said other than the fact that Rockstar Table Tennis absolutely trumps Wii Sports tennis. It's not even a comparison, and although we may be speaking prematurely, if you own a Wii, there's no reason you should be passing this one up. To...

The default control scheme is best suited for the Wii purist, allowing you to control your shots with swing of the Wii-mote, while your character’s body is on rails and is controlled by the computer. Unlike Wii Sports, the way you swing the Wii-mote...

Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis

Rockstar Games' Table Tennis turned out to be quite the little gem on the Xbox 360. It captured the essence of the sport brilliantly. It was only natural for Rockstar to serve up a Wii version of the game, what with the popularity of Wii Sports and the...

Maybe my expectations for the Wii version of Rockstar Games' Table Tennis were a little too high. I just feel that if you're going to create a game for the Wii console, you should go the whole nine yards. The controls are functional, but they don't...

Normally known for gritty, mature-themed action adventures, the development team at Rockstar San Diego serves up this unlikely sports game, intended to translate the furious and intense action of table tennis to the Nintendo Wii. Designed to mimic the exc

Rockstar Table Tennis – Wii review

The big potential pitfall for the Wii has always been that development teams will merely try and port their already much loved titles from other formats. Might not sound too bad in theory, but who wants to play the same old games with the added bonus...

More depth than Wii Sports tennis, can be masses of fun in multiplayer

No online mode, adding spin feels odd, hitting the ball doesn’t feel "right

Not half the game of the stunning Xbox 360 original – one Wii sporting title to leave on the shelves
