It is fast paced and pretty involved. My son loves it, and really gets into the sword fighting and ship battles. He plays it with an older boy and the two of them battle against the other pirates...great way for a wet afternoon!!

I would, and did. It's a fun pirate game with multiple mini-games in it too. Ship to ship battle is rather fun and interesting, a highlight of the game. The game is rather open-ended meaning you don't need to follow a linear path. If you don't feel...

Controls take a little to get used to, but it is easily mastered and brings back the glory days of the old PC game. I love it, my kids enjoy the co-op mode. Great game all round.

Another great chapter in this Caribbean saga which must be as close to Sid Meier's original concept for the game as it is possible to get. The feel of Pirates is much slicker than it's PC relation (and I loved that). The speed of the game play forces...
