Sonic and the Black Knight (Wii)

Sonic finds shallow, frustrating gameplay awaiting him in the legendary realm of King Arthur.

Sonic wields a sword poorly in this short and speedy game.

Aside from the sword, the controls work well ; Legacy missions are great

Story mode clocks in at around four hours ; Sword combat controls are unresponsive

vudu - It was a review copy, but I signed up for the review because I was interested in the game. If you remember, I had favorable NYCC impressions. I was excited for this game. Not super excited, but excited nonetheless. I played through almost all...

Sonic and the Black Knight Review

The good news: it's better than Unleashed.

The gameplay is speedy and fun, combat is quick, and "Werehogs" are nowhere in sight

Combat may be quick, but it's dumb and repetitive

A black day for Sega's speedy mascot

Enjoyable 2D sections ; Dueling with Shadow, Knuckles and Blaze ; Beautifully animated cutscenes

Far too on-rails ; Unresponsive sword attacks ; Very short

I still believe in Sonic the Hedgehog

Quick, arcade-style gameplay; Easy to digest story and setting; Swords make everything cooler

Better than Rings.

This game is more enemy attacks than the previous Sonics where it was fast paced.

Sonic

Not fast paced

Fun game for only the one player mode

This gome is pretty fun. You get to use combo hits and you run really fast. The only things negative about this game is that you can't run around freely and the multiplayer is not as fun as I thought it would be. Over all, it is a fun game if you like...

You fight cool monsters

You can't run around freely and the multiplayer is not too fun
