Star Wars Clone Wars : Lightsaber Duels

Since 1977 every generation has in some way experienced an incarnation of Star Wars. It was only natural that the franchise would eventually cross over into the gaming industry. While some gave you the opportunity to fight with the space opera's...

Though it may not meet most people's expectations, the game was designed for a younger audience and is pure entertainment for them.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels (Wii) Review

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels is a 3D fighting game that focuses on using lightsabers and force powers. There are ten playable characters including: Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Mace Windu, Count Dooku, Asajj Ventress,...

This game is fun but very short. It was nice to play a Star Wars game that is not their typical third-person adventure style, but unless you are planning to play a lot of multiplayer with your friends or kids I’d just rent it. If you’re really into...

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels

Cav takes a crack at the latest Star Wars game on the Wii.

It's Star Wars and it's the closest thing to using your WiiMote as a Lightsaber.Without challenge mode it would be lost

Gets repetative at timesWiimote doesn't always do exactly what you want it to do .... but when does it

So do I say I am utterly disappointed? – No.Do I say that it’s the best Star Wars game on the market? – No.Do I say that it’s the best Star Wars game on the Wii? – No. Lego Star Wars holds that title in my honest opinion.Do I say I’ll never play it...

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels (Wii) review

Cloning around with Star Wars

A valiant effort with some enjoyable elements, but might just miss the mark with old Jedis and younglings alike.

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels for Wii Review - Lightsaber Duels will please younger fans of The Clone Wars movie who don't know any better, but for anyone else the combat system will be too frustrating to forgive.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Lightsaber Duels

George Lucas must be seething. Despite announcing months ago that LucasArts was developing a game that allowed players to use the Wii’s motion capabilities to wield a lightsaber, no one thought to tell him that Nintendo was about to unveil the Wii...

Star Wars The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels

Wield--or at least waggle--the power of the Force in this cinematic but repetitive fighter.

Stylized art design and voice acting ; Cinematic flair abounds in each battle ; Specific dialogue for every possible matchup ; Large, multitiered, interactive arenas

Repetitive combat ; Lightsaber controls are imprecise at best ; Older Star Wars fans will be put off by the youthful slant

Not Worth the $20.00!

Don't buy this game. If you really want a Star Wars game, get The Force Unleashed, or Battlefront II (for the PS2). Even Lego Star Wars is better than this junk.

Entertains you for around 2 hours (If you play a couple of duels with a friend/cpu)

You can just randomly shake the Wii remote and still beat the game, so there is no challenge The storyline is mega-short. It's based off the horrible movie, so don't expect to see character development, plot twists, or any of the good stuff
