Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii)

The Force Unleashed was a long time coming when it finally hit store shelves. Many people got hyped about the physics engine that LucasArts had been pushing with detailed destructible environments, but my guess is that it was simply the Star Wars name...

Very fun gameplay; good use of motion controls; strong use of Star Wars license

Generally subpar graphics; repetitive, linear gameplay

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review [PS2, PS3, Wii, X360]

Remember when you were younger and you wanted to be Luke Skywalker, or for some of us Darth Vader? Well enter the new guy, Star Killer who is Darth Vader's secret apprentice and our newest edition to the force. The Force Unleashed takes place between 3...

The force is the main weapon unlike in other games ; Wide variety of environments ; Enemies and destructible environment react accurately to whatever happens to them

Ridiculous load times ; Great momentum ends with a soft lackluster thud ; Respawn points are badly placed

Star Wars fan boys are sure to get a bigger kick out of Unleashed than you're average gamer, so if you aren't a fan of Star Wars renting this title would be the best decision.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review

Neoseeker's Chad provides an in-depth review for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the best-selling game yet in the celebrated Star Wars franchise.

The game is very short, only taking me a little more than five hours of total play time to beat every level without collecting all of the Jedi Holocrons within each level. After going back and getting most of them, the game was starting to become...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Rev..

The Force is sort of strong with this one.

Excellent story, kick-ass force powers, fun combat

Some clunky battles, occasional control issues, repetition

The game has had mixed reviews, insane levels of hype and subsequent backlash, and a storied history behind it that can't be avoided. However, anyone able to throw that all aside and enjoy the game for what it's worth will be satisfied. If you like...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii)

One of the first things you thought when you picked up a Wii remote was, "Where's my lightsaber game?" You'll still be thinking that after playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the Nintendo Wii.

Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Is Starkiller's rampage Sith hot or just Luke-warm?

Solid framerate and lovely effects ; Great music and sound effects ; Awesome story

Seriously bland levels ; A few control hiccups ; Repetitive combat

But can nifty cutscenes make up for an action heart that, although beating with righteous Jedi intentions, too often succumbs to awkward controls and dumb pacing issues? The answer largely depends on whether or not you have Boba Fett on your pyjamas....

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review

TVG turns to the Dark Side in this bridging instalment to Lucas' epic space franchise...

Strong storyline for Star Wars fans ; Solid combat combos ; More engaging than anticipated

Poor enemy AI ; Showcase Star Destroyer sequence is poor ; Little room for replayability

A seriously surprising entry into Star Wars canon, the storylines is largely strong, and whilst there are several issues with the gameplay, The Force Unleashed is not the Phantom Menace we thought it would be.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Take a walk on the dark side and slaughter a few Jedi in LucasArts' latest adventure.

Force powers are fun to use; good use of Wii Remote controls; Duel Mode is good for a few matches

The camera is unwieldy; quick timer events suck; itÃ'Â's kinda ugly

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed review for the WII

A not so long ago as Episode III but longer than Episode IV time ago…

Amazing force powers and combos. . .; Out-of-this-world graphics; You are a JEDI

that get old quick.; Seasick camera; Lack of depth perception for force throwing; Difficulty aiming force-thrown objects

It is unfortunate that the setbacks are so blatant, because the title really draws from the rich Star Wars mythos and makes you experience the power of the force. But with the lack of gameplay polish, The Force Unleashed, like the secret apprentice...
