Super Mario Galaxy 2

Super Mario Galaxy 2 alleviates many of the original Super Mario Galaxy's niggles (somewhat confusing navigation and level design), while taking players on an enchanting journey that provides hours of joyous entertainment. The original Super Mario...

Fun and inventive gameplay. Excellent graphics and music

Occasional camera issues

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a more streamlined take on its predecessor, but its added simplicity makes it a more casual-gamer friendly title.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Three years ago, Mario hit the Wii with a remarkable 3D entry that brought a ton of innovation to the series through its spherical level designs that fit the galaxy moniker well. It also introduced new items like star bits that acted as both currency...

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a tremendous game and definitely the best one on the Wii. It's one of the best Mario games of all time, and my favorite 3D entry in the series to date. The gameplay, controls, graphics, and music are all incredible and its...

Brilliant platformer a surefire hit for virtually all ages.

Parents need to know that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a nearly all-ages platformer with only mild cartoon violence. Mario is the quintessential video game protagonist, an unquestionably good soul journeying to save his princess from an evil monster named...

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review

If this doesn't sound like a fun and complete game to you, you are crazy. Of course, Super Mario is not for everyone, and perhaps 3D Mario platforming versus the four-player 2D, side-scrolling Super Mario that was released back in November isn't much....

Super Mario Galaxy 2

Mario comes back in his most impressive game to date.

Great visuals; pleasing new orchestral pieces; a bevy of new mechanics and powerups; Yoshi and Luigi both make a return; tightened camera; lots of variety between levels; co-op mechanics mean that anyone can play.

Some levels feel too short; not enough levels with Yoshi/Luigi.

Dragon Quest IX

Taken in the context of the series, Dragon Quest IX is a strange game. It’s the first in the franchise to debut on a handheld, and it changes the classic formula in some significant ways. In many cases, these changes push the genre in interesting...

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review [Wii]

Fast forward to the present, and the first numbered Mario sequel in over 15 years sees a return to the formula that made the original so great – yet with some subtle improvements, new friends, and some of the most fiendish puzzles ever devised in any...

Still feels fresh and exciting ; Genuinely inventive puzzles ; Looks and sounds beautiful ; Hard but never unfair ; Great boss battles ; It makes you happy

You will eventually want to play a different game

Nintendo have done it again, with what is quite possibly the best game on the Wii and one of the best Mario games ever made. Inventive levels combine with fiendish puzzles and precise mechanics to make Super Mario Galaxy 2 one of the essential titles...
