Super Paper Mario

In a break from the two previous Paper Mario titles, Super Paper Mario blends the action and RPG genres with an emphasis on the action, instead of the RPG. I've...

Tight Controls ; Innovative Gameplay ; Awesome Art Direction ; Mustache Jokes ; An RPG Light On The RPG, Heavy On The Action

Platform Element Could Be More Challenging ; Story Could Be A Little Deeper ; Would Benefit From HD Visuals (though I can't fault the game itself, since the Wii itself isn't hi-def)

Super Paper Mario

The Paper Mario series is quite an interesting one. The original Paper Mario stood as a faux sequel for Super Mario RPG. At this point Mario was still new to the world of Role Playing, and Paper Mario for the N64 was just the ticket he needed to worm...

A great Platformer/RPG with undeniable charm that you're sure to enjoy.

Super Paper Mario Review

The wafer-thin moustached one returns, this time in an adventure that positively oozes nostalgia...

Spiritual successor to the 2D classics ; Highly innovative ; Stylish visuals

Game freezing glitch in the PAL version ; Hub area can plod ; Doesn't take full advantage of Wii

An incredibly enjoyable and clever game that will appeal to Mario fans new and old, Super Paper Mario may not have been originally built for Wii, but it nonetheless shines as one must have title for the Nintendo console.

Super Paper Mario

The music is upbeat and fits the game well. There is no spoken dialogue in the game except for the occasional “hi” from Mario. Some might complain about this but I find it more of a welcome addition. Some games just don't need voice acting. I still...

Super Paper Mario (WII)

Despite various shortcomings in presentation, Super Paper Mario pushes past tried and true game design to deliver an experience that is ultimately fulfilling.

Hilarious dialogue; engrossing dimension-shifting play mechanic; detailed and charming artwork

3D presentation is underdeveloped; underwhelming soundtrack

The end of the world is nigh. Nations are rising against each other. Calamities are ravaging countless innocents around the planet. And in the Mushroom Kingdom, Princess Peach and Bowser are getting married. That's right. The classic damsel in distress...

Super Paper Mario

Super Paper Mario was originally in development for the GameCube, but due to how popular the Wii became and how the Game Cube was fading out, Nintendo decided to scrap the GameCube version altogether rather than have two versions as with Twilight...

The Wii is less than six months old, but it already managed to get an array of quality titles under its belt. As games these days get overdramatic, having a lot eye candy or cramming as much action as possible, it's nice to play a simple, lighthearted...

You like Mario. You'd like some RPG in your platformer or some platforming in your RPG. Your Wii has been taking the drought kind of hard

The RPG, platformer marriage makes you cautious to jump on board
