The Island of Dr. Frankenstein (Wii)

Imagine a massive island that drifts across the sky, borne aloft by spinning rotors with artificial clouds hiding it from the Earth dwellers far below. Living on this island are a werewolf, a mummy, an ogre, a vampire, Frankenstein's monster, and the...

The Island of Dr. Frankenstein

There's not an ounce of fun to be found anywhere in this simplistic and tedious adventure game.

Tedious, unsatisfying gameplay ; Dull, dated visuals ; Extremely repetitive music and minimal sound effects ; Features a moment of language inappropriate for its E rating

Fetch Quest

What it is, is a 20+ hour long version of that one little side quest in the Zelda games

Review: The Island of Dr. Frankenstein (Nintendo Wii)

On the other hand, I do like baguettes.

The Island of Dr. Frankenstein is immensely likable, funny and charming. Unfortunately, the experience is quite short, and the game offers zero in terms of replay value. It's a shame because, otherwise, this is the best ’0 Wii game around.

In Dr. Frankenstein's case, so much was done wrong that the game has gone far beyond the realm of funny and into the realm of just plain sad. The gameplay is a short grocery list of menial and tedious tasks that do not invite even the smallest shred of...

I've done a lot of reviews in my tenure here at Kombo and I have to say this is one of the shoddiest games I have ever played. The one thing I tried to keep in mind is the game is only priced at $20, but with the availability of all the online stores...

The Island of Dr. Frankenstein - Review

The gamer complaints with Nintendo over the past decade or so have been the myths that A.) Only Nintendo first-party games are any good and B.) That the company aims more for a younger audience than its console rivals and C.) The systems are flooded...

Usually my reviews tend to be a little longer and more in-depth, but this game is such a boring waste of time I can't really justify spending more time writing about it. Follow this general rule - if a game appears on a Nintendo system and you've never...
