Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007

The Tiger Woods franchise has been around forever. We've had different ways of playing over the years, from meters to analog club swinging and putting, but with Tiger Woods 07 for the Wii, it all changes with the controls. This version is pretty much...

Overall, this is a solid golf game. If you already have played through this game on another system, the new controls probably aren't enough to warrant a new purchase, as they are the only new addition. But if you haven't had the 07 version, and are a...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

Driven by the success of the EA franchise, it's only natural to bring Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 onto the Wii after the rampant popularity of Wii Sports. Similar to the majority of the EA Sports lineup, the presentation of the game effectively captures...

Overall:Is Tiger Woods Golf 07 worth picking up for the control functions alone? Despite the steep learning curve, I’d have to say yes. While Wii Golf was an excellent launching point for golf games on the Wii, the sheer amount of courses, players, and...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

I'm not going to be shy about this: I love golf. I've already been out twice this year, and plan to spend as much time as possible this chasing a little white ball around the course. I took a short lesson early last summer, played all summer, and...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 for the Wii is exactly what you’d expect out of the premiere golf franchise in gaming on a console known for unique controls but less than stellar graphics. That said, while the graphics are a mixed bag, the controls were as...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

For a company that wholeheartedly supported PlayStation 3, Electronic Arts sure is moving fast to bolster the fledging Wii library. Unfortunately, all of the company's initial efforts are ports of previously released titles, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07...

Spot-on swing mechanics ; Additional courses, golfers, modes of play ; Lots of gameplay

Difficult to gauge power when swinging ; No online functionality ; Inferior visual presentation

It’s arguable whether Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 succeeds in besting its rivals on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with added content and intuitive motion-controls. The lack of any online functionality certainly hurts the game, but you’ll still find it...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

Tiger Woods PGA Tour '07 has finally made the complete video game golf circuit by appearing on every full sized game console, with the latest addition making its way to the Wii. We've already reviewed the game for the Xbox 360, the PS2, and the PS3 so...

It's a game that finally brings the real thrill of golf into the virtual world. Golf fans will enjoy it while non-golfers will still be entertained by the novelty of gameplay. It has some flaws in the control scheme, but overall, it's good.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 review for the WII

Par for the course.

Look ma, one hand!; And tons of holes!; Awesome player creator

Awful graphics; No online play; Wonky swing mechanic

To the uninitiated, golf seems like a primitive, maybe even brutish sport with its clubs, balls, and lest we forget, holes. It was, after all, invented in Scotland, a country whose main contributions to world culture are the head-butt and the man...

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07

An amazing, but slightly frustrating, experience for fans of the Wii or golf.

Wii control scheme; alternate control scheme; incredibly reliable Tiger gameplay

Wii control inaccuracies; difficulty of putting; no feedback during swings; no online play

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 Review

EA does a commendable job with its first Tiger Woods game for Wii.

Graphic flaws aside, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 serves up an adequate game of golf. The course selection, respectable number of modes and solid game play make it worth a rental. To the golfing nuts out there, it could even be worthy of a purchase.

It don't mean an thing, if it ain't got that swing

Pulling of a perfect drive ; The bevy of game modes and courses ; Fairly accurate physics

Possessed putting, dammit ; The obnoxiously enthusiastic crowd ; Waiting your turn

Tiger swings onto the Wii.

New game modes pack Tiger 07 with great depth. You have a new team tour mode that allows you to assemble a squad of golfers and challenge others in a variety of game modes until you can reach the top and challenge Tiger himself and his team of...
