The Blue Angels are some of the premier aerial acrobats in the world. Their death-defying sky ballets have been awing crowds of thousands since 1946. They are amazing, highly skilled pilots, but they've got nothing on me. With a racer's style, I swing...

Solid air combat game doesn't push the envelope.

Parents needs to know that while the language is generally mild, you may hear the 's' word and 'bastard' now and then. Targets like tanks and planes are shot constantly. But there is little blood, primarily firing of bombs and missiles and watching...

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

A well polished flight action game that can bring some fun.

Simple controls; easy to get into; a number of planes and options to unlock.

Combat gets really simplistic; too much disconnect from the gameplay; multiplayer options are weak.

A short and lackluster story, some AI issues and lack of multiplayer modes drag down an otherwise fun game from reaching new heights

First modern air combat since Ace Combat 6, good selection of planes, interesting concept.

Ground graphics are bad at low altitude, dubious plot, too short combat distance, short single player campaign, relatively easy, insufficient wingmen commands.

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X.

Maps look sweet, cool and exciting single-player missions, a wide selection of planes, altogether quite fun;

Short-ish single-player, wingmen not very helpful.

There are many aspects in this game that guarantee a decent experience no matter where your preferences lie. For some reason though, it doesn't quite push the envelope in terms of gameplay and it does feel slightly less entertaining than, say, Ace...
