Transformers The Game

Last year's Transformers: The Movie was one of those that had the potential to spawn a decent tie-in game. After all, giant fighting robots...what could go wrong?

Transformers: The Game Review

More than meets the eye, that's the slogan for one of the most popular toys of the 1980's. Twenty years later kids everywhere are still discovering that Transformers are just ...

I really don’t want to say that Transformers: The Game is a quick cash in to go along with the movie, but it sure does feel that way. Everything just feels so dumbed down and last generation that it’s hard to even want to look at the Transformers the...

Transformers: The Game

As the summer continues, so too does the string of big budget, popcorn fluff flicks and the mostly mangled videogames based on them. Case in point: Transformers The Game for PlaySation3, Wii, and Xbox 360, a roughly adequate game of giant, sentient,...

Transformers: The Game is actually two games, or playable twice from each side, as an Autobot and again as a Decepticon, which gives modest depth to it all but only thinly disguises the facts that Transformers doesn't particularly excel as an action...

Transformers: The Game

Every time I play another mediocre movie-licensed game, my circuits sizzle.

Some missions can be enjoyable and challenging; better lock-on functionality than other versions; lots of fan service

Combat is sloppy; driving controls are floaty; missions begin to feel repetitive; camera is difficult to deal with

As many games have proven in the past, stomping around in a giant robot rarely fails to offer an enjoyable time (perhaps no more so then Atari's and Melbourne House's own 2004 Transformers game). Such is their appeal, that we've got to wonder how...

Transformers: The Game (Wii)

You'd think Transformers, a video game based on a movie based on a TV show based on a toy, would be easy to adapt. After all, giant robots that turn into cars and smash seven shades of hell out of their enemies sounds like every geek's dream. Sadly...

Collect enough cubes (Force Unleashed deja-vu) and you'll be rewarded with bonus features like a photo gallery, movie trailers and alternate colour schemes for your robot. Transformers is a by-the-numbers bit of guff that improves around the halfway...

Transformers: The Game- Wii

This game is hard to control. Move your remote and the camera changes. I keep finding myself staring up bumblebee's butt. The controls aren't too responsive.Glad its a renter not a buyer.

Transformers: The Game- Wii

I agree with lyleyboy. The game is really hard to control and its very frustrating. If the game play was easier to control it would be a great game but because its not... its crap!

Good fun

I know people don't like the way the camera behaves on this but you do get used to it after a while. We really enjoy playing this as you can play as an autobot or decepticon. It is tricky and we have bought it as the instructions are helpful. if you...
