Trauma Center: New Blood

When the first Trauma Center, Under the Knife, was released for the Nintendo DS all those years ago, it was a cult hit: removing tumors with the stylus was an amazing experience that anyone without a weak stomach could get into. When the game was...

Trauma Center remains an interesting, unique, and entertaining series, and the Wii's New Blood is remains a largely unnoticed gem amongst the leftover slag.

Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii)

Saving humanity has been a core component of videogames practically since their inception, but Trauma Center: New Blood takes a unique approach to such heroism. Instead of destroying alien invaders or rescuing princesses from castles, you're tending to...

Atlus is one of Nintendo's most creative third party developers. They make games that explore new ideas, experiment with new forms of control, and challenge gamers with nearly insurmountable difficulty. Back in 2005, Trauma Center: Under the Knife was...

Atlus one-ups themselves with the first real sequel in the Trauma Center series. New Blood features an all new co-op mode and a fresh story to go with it, featuring two new doctors. This co-op comes at a price, though; Atlus made every operation...

Trauma Center: New Blood

New doctors, new operations, same great gameplay.

liCooperative mode fits perfectly ; Tremendous voice acting propels story ; Far more variety in operation types ; Caters to new players and hardcore experts

Online leaderboards feel tacked on ; Worst box art ever

So this game is basically Castlevania.

Trauma Center: New Blood

For anyone suffering symptoms of medical drama withdrawal, try a trip to the digital O.R. Trauma Center: New Blood is the latest addition of the interactive surgery franchise... is there another type of surgery?

Trauma Center: New Blood is the sequel to one of the most unique games of the Wii's launch last year, Trauma Center: Second Opinion (itself a sequel to a similarly unique Nintendo DS title). The game simulates surgical operations using the Wii-mote as...

Trauma Center: New Blood Game Review - Nintendo Wii

Timothy Treadwell, a famed bear enthusiast, and his girlfriend were killed in October 2003 while camping in a national park in Alaska with little protection and at a time that nearby brown bears would be hungry and more aggressive than usual

Trauma Center: New Blood

I actually had more trouble performing surgeries with the DS stylus than I do with the Wii Remote, which makes the process feel intuitive and a bit like I'd imagine real surgery feels. The Wii titles are definitely great entertainment, and the second...

New Blood is the best (and hardest) Trauma Center game yet. For those who consider themselves "real gamers" and are still bemoaning the lack of real games and difficulty on the Wii, this is the answer to your prayers.

Alaska - the frigid northern extremity of America. Come April, the harsh winter begins to loosen its grip on the land. The seemingly endless nights grow shorter, day by day, and the frozen wilderness starts to thaw. In the heart of this majestic setting lies a small town not far from Fairbanks, whose weary in habitants eagerly await the arrival of spring. Montgomery Memarial Hospital watches over the town like an old man. And in this remote hospital toil two doctors - Markus Vaughn and Valerie Blaylock - who are about to be swallowed by the jaws of fate.
