Personal anecdote to kick things off. The first time I saw the original We Cheer was via an impromptu demonstration one night at a local video game chain. A tough looking, scruffy tattooed punk was dancing around, remotes in hand, swinging his arms,...

More of a party game than the original ; Lots of stuff to customize ; Plenty of appealing characters to choose from – even, should you be so inclined, guy cheerleaders (!)

No Wii MotionPlus support ; No challenge whatsoever ; Song selection is questionable, to say the least

I believe my man-card has just been revoked.

Identifiable song list (well, mostly); Lots of clothing to unlock

I think this game will satisfy the majority of the target audience with its customization options and modes of play. There aren't a lot of songs here, but the game is done well enough in every other respect to help make up for that.

The inaccurate controls will dampen anyone's cheerful disposition.

PlayStation Eye functionality also returns in Quiz World. If you have the camera hooked up during a game, the Eye will snap photos when crazy stuff happens like the bomb exploding in Short Fuse and at the end of the game before saving the pics. You can...
