Wii Fit Plus review

Wii Fit has been one of the few original and innovative games on the Wii, something new and refreshing in the hail of never ending Mario games. The Wii Fit training game, coupled with the Wii balance Board, has sold in excess of 20 million units...

Making exercise less boring. For millions of gamers, this was the promise of the original Wii Fit. Sure, the game and its scale-like Balance Board controller could guide and grade you through simple yoga poses and strength-training exercises. But those...

User-created routines and plenty of new activities make Wii Fit Plus a vast improvement on the original, although some important omissions stop it from being a standout.

Can create your own workout routines ; Most of the new balance games are fun ; Great way to track your fitness progress ; Will help improve your balance and strength

User routines limited to yoga and muscle activities ; Multiplayer limited to nine games ; Balance board response can be a little sluggish

Wii Fit was the biggest seller last year, and made Nintendo so much money that a sequel was inevitable. Cav gets himself up off the couch and drags his Wii Fit balance board out of the dust to take a good long look at this cash cow sequel.

Twenty odd bucks is about what you'd pay for an add on on the 360 or PS3, so the price is pretty fair - Some of the new games are fun - Quick launch body test is a bonus

Too much nunchuk - leans more towards traning the brain this time aound, not shedding the kilos - I still find that the goals set by the game are unreal, I don't wanna be a supermodel, just wanna ditch my 'central roundness

So I am not as motivated as I was when I first got the game... just like the first time, but there are some games that I really like. Owners of the game, who are still users, will probably pick this up. Christmas sales will probably do well too. ...

Get ready to dig out the Balance Board and flex those muscles!

Create your own exercise regimes; Calorie Counter is good real life indicator

Criticised BMI is still used; Some dialogue is too long; Not much to unlock, which might demotivate some players

I mix and match routines all the time, just clicked 20hrs and I am losing the little excess weight and toning up, feeling great! I will never enter a gym again, and convenient being a mother of 3 am able to fit it in when I can.

bought it last week, already lost about a kilo cause it motivates me to exercise else where, like take the stairs instead of the elevator and stuff like that, and motivates me to eat better.

motivates me to exercise more, fun games

needs more choice/fun games to do, plus being able to make your own routine would be great. i get bored after half hour and turn it off, but the next day i'm back into it for another half hour. and the board is way too sensitive, when i do the balance...
