Mighty mini-game collection with loads of ways to play.

Parents need to know that Wii Party is a mini-game collection designed for multiplayer use. There are solo modes here, but to really enjoy the game, it should be played, as the title suggests, with a full party. Several modes can not be played solo. As...

If you approach Wii Party as a single-player affair, you’ll likely find a package that is only moderately entertaining at best. Bring it with you to Thanksgiving or some other social gathering, however, and Wii Party will light up a room. Whether it be...

A fun game to add to your collection of party games. You’ll be playing this one more than Mario Party 8.

Nintendo is bringing you more motion control party game action with the new mini-game collection Wii Party. With over 80 games, Wii Party is fun and there's a ton of variety, but, unfortunately, we've seen it all before.

A robust collection of modes and mini-games, House Party Mode is an interactive and interesting use of the WiiMote, Easy to jump into the fun

There's nothing groundbreaking about Wii Party, Some of the Party Modes are needlessly complicated, Mini-games repeat mechanics and can feel monotonous

Cool use of Wii Remotes, Plenty of minigames, Lots and lots of modes

Too many random events, Dumb luck-based minigames, Boring presentation

So while Wii Party manages to remain entertaining by the sheer numbers of minigames and occasional clever Wiimote usage, the bland presentation and lackluster board games bring it down. You won't be sorry adding it to your party game rotation, but...

Huge variety of games that hit more than they miss, Several interesting modes, Charming visual style, Some fun and unique games that focus on the Wii Remote

A few of the games have some control issues, Some annoying sound effects

Is this game the life of the party or the party pooper?

Great execution of mini-games and ideas ; Excellent controls ; Lots of gameplay modes

Lacks the depth of previous party titles ; Not the ideal single-player game

Personally, I don't think it's worth it unless you have at least one other person to play the game with. This game especially, it has some games that you can't even play with one person, so you would be missing out on some of the content. If you want...
