Although nothing damning could be said about them, there are no standout compliments to be made. The art direction is unoriginal, the models for the Spider-Men and enemies alike are low-poly and low-res, and environments are blocky and uninspired....

Beenox's sophomore effort demonstrates they're capable of creating a great Spider-Man game, but this isn't it.

I like me some cross-over events in comics but I sure hope this is the last time it shows up in a Spider-Man video game for at least a couple of years. Last year's Spidey adventure was split across various dimensions -- this time around we have a time...

Sadly his penchant for death-defying web-slinging through the skyscrapers of New York has been replaced by button-bashing melee combat and the most repetitive and cliched gameplay design that you will see this holiday period, if not this year...

Limited web-slinging; Mundane and repetitive indoor setting; Weak story, useless and gratuitous cameos; Stupidly repetitive and uninteresting gopher-like gameplay
