New Super Luigi U- WIIU

New Super Luigi U may not offer new worlds or powers, but its emphasis on skill and precision reinvigorates the series in a meaningful way.

The redesigned levels are dense and challenging ; Luigi's distinct physics add a unique feel to the action ; Optional objectives extend the endgame in a worthwhile way

Recycled art and music from New Super Mario Bros U

Nintendo has done a good job of creating a "new" experience out of old rags. You're still on a quest to rescue Princess Peach, and the same old Mario mechanics persist, but the challenges along the way feel different. Never have levels been this short,...

Play this: Super Luigi U for the Wii U

Nintendo's first DLC for Super Mario Bros. U has finally arrived, that's great news but — beware — it's not easy!

You can grab this game from the Wii U shop for $19.99 as an add-on or $29.99 as a standalone title, and even if you don’t want the DLC there’s now an update for SMB U that allows you to play with the new Pro Controller.

It's Luigi's turn to save Princess Peach! Will this pricey DLC package finally let the green plumber..

With that said, at $49.95, Luigi U is still pretty steep as far as DLC goes, and it’s probably not vital unless you really love the original game and just can’t get enough. There’s a standalone version coming out on July 27, which will feature both the...

New Super Luigi U. (for Nintendo Wii U )

New Super Luigi U gives the unsung Mario brother his own side-scrolling action, but it's a lot harder than New Super Mario Bros. U, the game on which this DLC is based..

The DLC’s structure is identical to New Super Mario Bros. U, down to a world map that doesn’t bother to change at all. You go from area to area, running through levels, then fortresses with a mini-boss, then more levels, then a castle with a main box,...

New Super Luigi U Review

Proves just how smart and ahead of the pack Nintendo are with level design and gameplay.

Luigi plays differently enough to change the dynamic of the game ; Lots more of an already great game

Some proper new stages rather than remixes would have been nice ; No new boss fights
