Over-the-top thug swagger and solid gameplay help 50 Cent's new game crack the Top 40.

Back in 1994, two videogames were released that featured two celebrities doing things in the game that weren't related to what they were famous for.  Michael Jordan starred in Chaos in the Windy City, a platformer that was at least slightly related to...

Multiplayer drop-in and -out ; Run-and-gun play mixed with a little exploration makes for a lot of fun

Most ridiculous story ever ; Jeepers! The language! F-words and racial epithets all over the dang place ; Cover button is also the roll button and some other things and it doesn't always react correctly

Michael Jordan starred in Chaos in the Windy City, a platformer that was at least slightly related to basketball – different basketball powerups helped MJ in his quest. Shaq Fu, though, featured Shaquille O'Neal in a fighting game, no basketballs to be...

This game sure does take after a few noticeable games. Gears of War being its cover system and control scheme a bit, and The Club for just about everything else. Speaking on the cover system, it's just about complete crap. The point of a cover system...

The game is very fun for that arcade feel and runs about 9 levels on three different difficulty levels; all are which are selectable on your very first run. I started out on the hardest difficulty and it took my about maybe 3 days to beat it….twice....

Marcus Fenix, Tomas Sevchenko, The Master Chief, that dude from Call of Duty 4; all familiar heroes of modern action games. As the starring character of his new shooter Blood on the Sand, we can welcome a new entrant into the annals of action heroism,...

There's some decent shooting granted you look past some major and minor flaws as well as the 50.

Lots of guns, lots of profanity and a surprising amount of fun.

Action is fast paced, plenty of weapons and melee kills, scoring model is a hoot

Repetitive, every boss battle is the same, some frame rate issues, ludicrous story

At the end of the day, if you can look past the utterly stupid story and just enjoy the game for what it is, a fast paced, high scoring, arcade shooter, you'll probably find yourself having a lot of fun. Real 50 Cent fans will no doubt enjoy the...

REVIEW: My mind on my money and my money on my mind

Fast-paced, over-the-top dumb fun built for online co-op.; Plenty of 50 Cent love for fans: videos, songs, and, well, him

Lacks overall polish; isn’t very balanced or fun in single-player

Does “I didn’t sign up for this sh*t” qualify as a taunt? (No.)

If the members of KISS can have their faces on a lunchbox, and Aerosmith has its name attached to multiple games, why not 50 Cent? Say what you will about his music, but Curtis "50 Cent"...

Too short, but the best bad shooter you'll play

Silly and relentless in a good way ; Fast, stylish combat ; You have a friggen swear button

Scenario is ludicrous ; Most guns sound like toys ; Action is repetitive

You can play online co-op, buy new swear words (really), unlock 50’s back catalogue and learn horrific close-combat moves, including the ability to stab a man in the arse. It’s only about six hours long, too, despite the replay potential. Classy this...
