Ancients of Ooga

An homage to god-like power and mastication. Ancients of Ooga is spawned by NinjaBee, better known for their Keflings, and has some of the same quirky charm and fascination with...

The storytelling scenes ; Exploding chickens, eating Oogani, puking rocks

Weak puzzles ; Co-op is offline only ; Unnecessary foreground and background

Ancients of Ooga is spawned by NinjaBee, better known for their Keflings, and has some of the same quirky charm and fascination with god-like power. As the great spirit you possess different Oogani to direct their actions thereby solving puzzles,...

Ancients of Ooga Review - Frictionless Insight

has taught me anything, it's that everything is edible, if you just add enough spices. The Ooganis are fond of eating just about everything, so when a group of hulking Boolis offered them a bunch of intoxicating slugs, the seven tribes of Ooganis...

I've never been so hungry in all my life. That's because if Ancients of Ooga has taught me anything, it's that everything is edible, if you just add enough spices. The Ooganis are fond of eating just about everything, so when a group of hulking Boolis...

REVIEW: We think we're gonna puke

Lots of cool special abilities, as well as objects to gobble and barf.; 50 colorful levels full of goofy attitude

Disappointingly simplistic puzzles; crippled offline-only co-op

What sort of inter-dimensional digestive tract can handle a dozen melons?

We jump in to the body of an Oogani in order to save their race in Ninja Bee's quaint, colourful platform puzzler. (Xbox 360)

Possession is a topic that doesn't appear very often in video games. Ninja Bee Studios has used it to interesting effect in their new Xbox Live Arcade title

Ancients of Ooga

From the creators of Cloning Clyde comes a new epic adventure Ancients of Ooga! Eat, chant, and even puke your way through the highly comical, primeval land of Ooga. There's never a dull moment as you meet, befriend, and finally acquire seven zany...

Ancients of Ooga

Ninja Bee's Cloning Clyde was one of my favourite games from the early days of Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA). Back then we had Geometry Wars and not a lot else to enjoy besides Ninja Bee's own Outpost Kaloki X, if you weren't a fan of retro games. Cloning...

A worthy successor to the excellent Cloning Clyde, providing an enjoyable and occassionally humourous experience. This quirky platformer could be more challenging and varied in places, but it's certainly worth the asking price of 800 Microsoft Points...

Ancients of Ooga is a playful but imperfect puzzle platformer with a difficulty curve that makes it best suited for novice players.

Ancients of Ooga- Xbox 360

With some nice but underexploited ideas and without any truly tricky puzzles to overcome, Ancients of Ooga is no more or less than a fun and simple puzzle-based platformer. Consider checking it out in a dry spell of must-have downloads and indie...

Ancients of Ooga- Xbox 360

Ninja Bee has made a very passable game but sadly it doesn't go very much beyond that. If you want a nice pick up then get Ancients of Ooga, but just don't expect to be blown away.

Ancients of Ooga- Xbox 360

Ancients of Ooga is a lengthy puzzle platformer that hearkens back to the simpler days of 16-bit gaming. Younger players, in particular, will enjoy the lighthearted humor and simple challenges. I suspect even some older gamers looking for a relaxing...
