Assassin's Creed 3: The Tryanny of King Washington: The Betrayal Review

The first installment of this three part DLC did leave me with two main questions; why weren’t the supernatural powers introduced, or at least touched on, in the mainline story and why separate the overall DLC into three, two hour episodes? The way...

Additional supernatural powers; Furthers the look into Connor’s heritage; The episode builds to an entertaining peak

Powers make some situations unbalanced; Some challenges seem difficult due to unresponsive control; Reaching some points clears the area of enemies automatically

Assassin's Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy Review

This episode is the beginning of this all-fictional spin on the main antagonist’s actions, and if it keeps up the pace is sure to offer a lot of diverse, exciting gameplay never before seen in the series...

Takes Assassin's Creed into interesting new waters, even if fictionally (to the arc); More of Connor's heritage is explored and utilised here; An excellent and well thought out spin history, with an enticing story

Splitting the content into three chapters feels cheap; No option to take your new skills and abilities back into the game proper

Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation review: Console-calibre adventuring

While

Structurally similar to its console brother ; Packed with mystery and conspiracy ; Zipping through the Bayou's treeline

Looks rough compared to consoles - and it invites the comparison ; The three hubs aren't as big as Rome, Venice or Boston
