Battle Fantasia

Where else can a bunny magician face off against a black-armored Deathbringer?

Beautiful and inventive character designs ; Traditional in the best way ; A more tactical approach to fighting

Not enough people play ; A little too safe ; May be too simple

It all adds up to an easy-to-grasp entry-level fighter which might just hide some layers of depth beneath its accessible exterior. It’s not a well-played game in Japanese arcades and it’s hard to say just how deep Battle Fantasia’s well goes, but at...

Battle Fantasia

Not the most advanced new fighter around, but it's still pretty fun when playing against a group of friends.

The balancing seems to be pretty good, at least to my average sense of skill, and while there's some noticeable HP differences, (it actually gives you hit points listed under the health bars), everyone has a different strength and power of attack, so...

REVIEW: It's a J-Fighter!

Masher-friendly gameplay; Beautiful art design

Not localized enough to appeal beyond otaku

Battle Fantasia

Thanks to the Xbox 360 some of the best Japanese games are seeing the light of day. One of these treasures is a little fighting game known as Battle Fantasia, a fighter that first came out in the arcades over in Japan. After quite some time this...

With 3-D fighters taking over the market it is nice to see a game like Battle Fantasia come out. The game does have some pretty big flaws, but with more people learning about the game then the biggest flaw, online mode, will be fixed. Battle Fantasia...

Surprisingly...fun

This game is fun, and basically anyone who's looking for a fighting game a bit off the beaten path would have a blast.

Fun combat system, charming (and bizarre) art style, crazy characters, and a fantastic price

A tricky final boss (but satisfying to beat once you know the trick), somewhat limited move sets, and an anemic online community. Also, the instruction manual had misprinted move-sets, so you can't actually tell what the moves are outside of the game...

something different

I highly recommend this game to fighting fans. I had a lot of fun with it.

Awesome stylized graphics, easy to grasp the control scheme, and likeable cast

Fans of guilty gear might be expecting more of the same, but this is a different breed of Aksys fighter

meh... i've seen better

I had pretty high expectation since this is the same people that brought guilty gear to life. That being said this game is plagued with sub par graphics, a fighting engine that feels like all of you characters are knee deep in mud and fighting to move.

the box is pretty... kinda

the fighting engine, control response, pace... i could keep going

Lara Croft's Big Adventure: Tomb Raider Underworld

I find it amazing that Tomb Raider's Lara Croft has become such a gaming icon. Sure, the first game was pretty impressive for its time, but it never struck me as the kind of thing that would not only generate countless sequels, but big budgeted ...

Nice graphics, decent story

Awful camera, frustrating controls

Battle Fantasia- Xbox 360

With a new and very much traditional Street Fighter game reigniting the flames of beat-'em-up fans who have lost their way of late, we're set to see not only the rebirth (or rather, rejuvenation) of the fighting genre but also a rise to prominence for...

Despite its glorious 2.5D rendering, Fantasia is as old-school a beat-’em-up as you’ll encounter. Guilty Gear developers ArcSys have trimmed all the technical nonsense away from its flagship series, leaving a far more refined, accessible and balanced...
